VENTURA YACHT CLUB'S SWIM TEST
Q. What does your swim test consist of?
A. Students must swim the approximate 80 feet from our Guest Dock, across the finger to our "A" dock, and back again. Students have the option to wear their lifejacket, but must complete the swim test unaided. There is a swim ladder at the halfway point and the end, and coaches are positioned on the dock in the event of an emergency. Per our insurance policy, students must complete the swim test before continuing on with class. Returning students do not have to complete a swim test.
